Izaak's 6th Birthday

I just had to take this picture of Izaak eating breakfast, at this age, we have counted down the days until his birthday since before Christmas. This little guy has been sooooo excited about turning 6. It's so much fun to see the excitement in their eyes, when it's their birthday. This morning Izaak wanted his favorite, pancakes with syrup and LOTS of cool whip. YUM!
After school, Daddy was about to have a flippin cow! He order this atv a couple of months ago and never thought about seeing what the mph was on it or to even drive it. Well, this DS 70's max speed was 10 mph! WHAT!! Izaak's four wheeler he currently had went max speed 45-50 mph, so we knew this wasn't going to work. We decided to give this to him anyways, because the cycle shops were closed and there was no way Daddy wasn't going to have a new four wheeler sitting there for his boys birthday. This picture was great, though he had no idea that it wasn't a bad boy machine!
Any four wheeler this boy gets on he is smiling ear to ear! I just plead the blood of Jesus over my boys, and that's all a Momma and Wife can do when she has boys that love adventure as much as they do.
Time to open.....he woke up this morning wanting to open presents, so you can just imagine the anticipation by 7:00 at night.

This is one monster truck loving boy!! Anything with a motor, actually. As I sit here, and think about the need to mow, the first thing that popped in my head was I could just see my son trying to ramp the lawn mower or even try to see if it could do a wheelie. Ha!
And what's a new four wheeler with out a super cool helmet? Thanks Uncle Steven, my helmet rocks!

This birthday boy wanted steak, mac & cheese, salad, and garlic bread for his birthday dinner.

Blowing out the candles, being 6 years old is so much FUN!
The Day after Izaak's Birthday...........
Today Daddy went to see his friends up at M&W Powersports to get Izaak a bigger, faster atv. The one he got on his birthday was a DS 70, and this......this is a DS 250!!! Thank God that we can control the throttle, because this is just way to much of a machine for a 6 year old!
OH MY, the 2nd atv is 2 days! That's only what little boys dream of. This picture is a little blurry, but I love the look on Daddy's face when he see's his little boy **LIGHT UP**.
A big boy, for a big atv. Oh my, what is Mommy going to do? This picture reminds me so much of his 4th birthday when he got his Honda 90, his feet can't even reach the foot brake. But, Izaak has it all figured out, you lean your body over to the side and there you have it.
