A typical evening with the Copenhaver's

Izaak playing his Nintendo DS as soon as he gets home from school. I thought that this phase would pass, but after 2 years he loves his video games more now than ever.
Mommy's helper, one of Natalie's jobs is unloading the dishwasher. Now, I just need to teach her how to load those dirty dishes. I am so thankful that she doesn't complain about helping momma out around the house. Thanks sweetie!
Each one of my kiddo's love to cook, and help out in the kitchen. Izaak wanted to make dinner one night this week, so he made velvetta shells and cheese and green beans. Perfect for a 6 year old to make! Good job buddy!
The next evening I was making shrimp stir fry, and Chloe decided it was her turn to help in the kitchen. Yes, that is a sharp knife in my 5 year olds hand, but she did fabulous cutting the shrimp in half.
This is mommy's other helper. Chloe is more than willing to help, but boy does she make a mess doing it. If this is one thing Chloe can do well, it's destroying the house in less than an hour with toys everywhere! =)

Our home may not be very eventful, but we love our life, and we love our kiddo's!
